With many of the commercial coconut oils being cold or expeller-pressed, heat vaporizes some of the vital nutrients in the processing making them less effective.

Rikita adds, “If you are using coconut oil to cook then an unrefined, virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil is perfect since you will be applying heat to it anyways. However, if you are applying it to your or you baby’s skin you want to use a raw, pure coconut oil which has 100% of the nutrients and enzymes intact.” And we couldn’t agree more.

Rose essential oil, Cocovit coconut oil, epsom salt, and bubbles! The perfect bath recipe for an expecting or new mom.  The fabulous smell paired with the moisturizing ingredients will leave you relaxed and your skin hydrated and supple.

• 2 cups of Epsom Salts
• 2 oz Cocovit Bath Salts
• 2 tbsp of Cocovit Coconut Oil
• 5-6 drops of Rose Oil
• Bubble Bath {for the bubbles}
• Combine all of these ingredients in a tub, relax, unwind and enjoy!
