Mama Glow Foundation Releases 4-Year Impact Report for “Love Delivered” Initiative

Celebrating Transformative Progress
& Leadership in Black Maternal Health

The Mama Glow Foundation, in partnership with Carol’s Daughter, proudly announces the release of its 4-Year Impact Report for the Love Delivered initiative—marking a significant milestone in the fight for birth equity and improved maternal health outcomes across the United States. Love Delivered: A Four-Year Impact Journey, offers a comprehensive look at the organization’s ongoing commitment to advancing maternal health equity and supporting birthing people and their families. On the heels of Black Maternal Health Week 2026, the Mama Glow Foundation shares the story behind ones of its best known impact programs.

Launched in 2021, Love Delivered was created in response to the urgent maternal health crisis disproportionately affecting Black birthing people. Five years later, the initiative stands as a powerful model for community-centered care, advocacy, and systemic change that has influenced subsequent movements and programs nationwide. This report addresses a 4-year period of impact and traces the milestones along the way.

The report provides an in-depth overview of the Love Delivered initiative, highlighting the Foundation’s efforts to expand access to culturally competent doula care, education, and essential resources. It outlines key milestones, program growth, and the breadth of communities served, demonstrating the organization’s continued investment in improving birth outcomes and experiences.

Central to the report are the stories and lived experiences of the families impacted by the initiative. These narratives underscore the importance of community-centered care and the transformative role of doulas in providing physical, emotional, and informational support throughout the perinatal journey.

The Love Delivered Impact Report also presents measurable outcomes, including the number of families supported, the expansion of partnerships, and the scaling of programs designed to address disparities in maternal health. These insights reflect both the reach and effectiveness of the Foundation’s work throughout this program and more broadly.

The Mama Glow Foundation expresses pride in the report as a reflection of its mission-driven approach—one rooted in dignity, equity, and compassionate care. By documenting both quantitative impact and personal stories, the report illustrates what is possible when communities are supported through intentional, culturally responsive care models.

The organization continues to build on this momentum, working alongside partners and stakeholders to ensure that all birthing people have access to the support they need to thrive.

A Movement Rooted in Urgency and Health Equity

With 84% of maternal deaths in the U.S. classified as preventable, and Black birthing people facing mortality rates three to four times higher than white counterparts, Love Delivered was built to challenge inequities at every level. The initiative prioritizes dignity, cultural competency, and access—ensuring that those most impacted receive the care and support they deserve.

Celebrating Four Years of Impact

The newly released report highlights the initiative’s far-reaching influence from 2021 to 2025:
