Caitlin Sutherland

Doula Trainee

I am a recent college graduate from Smith College, currently interning with Mama Glow. I became interested in this doula work once I saw that people who look like me, black women, were dying during this time in life - a time that should be nothing but beautiful and exciting. I want to make a change and improve access to resources and information they have not been receiving about birth. I will be going back to school to become a midwife, but I believe this is the start of having real impact with my work.
