SUMMARY:Holding Space: An Online Mental Health Circle for Doulas
DESCRIPTION:Holding Space is an inclusive\, online mental health support circle created exclusively for doulas who give deeply and deserve to be held\, too. Together\, we explore the full spectrum of this work—burnout\, grief\, joy\, boundaries\, sustainability\, and everything in between—without judgment or expectation to “be strong.” \nThis circle is not about fixing or performing. It is about being witnessed\, supported\, and reminded that your care matters\, too. \nTime & Date: Thursday\, Mar 26 at 7:00-8:30 PM \nInvestment: Free for Mama Glow Doulas \n$25.00 for everyone else \n  \nMeet Your Facilitator: Jamilla Jackson Kelly \nAs a wife and boy mom of 2\, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor\, Birth and Postpartum Doula\, Jamillah Jackson Kelly enjoys supporting others on a variety of life paths. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Sociology from Georgetown University and a Masters of Science and Specialist in Education Degree in Couples and Family Counseling from the University of NC at Greensboro. With her varied experiences in the last 20 years of working in a domestic violence shelter\, county jail\, methadone clinic\, 24/7 behavioral health crisis line\, and now private practice\, Jamillah’s holistic and nonjudgmental orientation enables her to meet her clients where they are on their path. Jamillah fully believes and supports that we all have a right to show up authentically as our true selves and be respected as such.
