Molly’s ongoing Navel Casting practice begins with one of the body’s smallest marks – the place where one body once connected to another – and opens into larger questions around motherhood\, ancestry\, pregnancy and infant loss\, healing\, and the ways reproductive experiences shape us. Through a candid conversation with Tara\, Molly will share more about the origins of the work\, why she was drawn to the navel\, and how ritual\, art\, and collective participation can create space for experiences that are often deeply personal but widely shared.\n\n\n \n\n\nTogether\, they’ll explore questions around connection and separation\, motherhood and identity\, grief and transformation\, lineage\, memory\, and what it means to make private experiences visible through art. The evening will include a moderated conversation followed by audience Q&A\, with time before and after to gather\, connect\, and experience The Soft Space.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis gathering is open to anyone interested in art\, motherhood\, reproductive experience\, memory\, lineage\, grief\, healing\, and storytelling.
